18th Annual Bar Leaders' Conference

In the past, the Conference has addressed a variety of topics, ranging from independence of lawyers and judiciary to anti-corruption to artificial intelligence, and the roles that bars play in these. The conference will also include the popular round table format, where issues such as wellbeing in the profession, anti-corruption, business and human rights, election integrity have been discussed by bar leaders in an interactive format. The topics to be discussed in the plenaries are: - Changing Responsibilities of Lawyers and Bar Associations - Bar Associations and Human Rights—the role in shaping international conventions - In a changing world, how can bar associations be champions of sustainability?
