Birch Run Shipshewana on the Road Show

Shipshewana on the Road was established by Julie and Darrell Lepper in November 1992. They decided to bring some dealers from Shipshewana in Indiana to their home at the Kellogg Arena, Battle Creek, MI. People have long loved the outdoor market as a place to shop. Many people cannot attend because of the distance, the season (May to October), and the fact it is only open Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So, in November 1992, the first of the 15 to 20 Shipshewana On the Road events was held. The vendors travel to your area. Greg Fountain, their son, decided in 2012 to join the family business and leave the corporate world.
