ESID-EHA-SIOPE Focused Symposium 2025

On behalf of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), the European Hematology Association (EHA), and SIOPE - The European Society for Paediatric Oncology, we are thrilled to invite you to the ESID-EHA-SIOPE Focused Symposium 2025 "The Interplay of Immunology and Haematology", taking place in the marvellous city of Vienna from 18-20 November 2025.

Why ESID-EHA-SIOPE 2025?

In recent years, the intersection between immunodeficiencies, haematologic conditions, and oncology has become ever more apparent. As we witness increasing complexity in patient diagnoses and treatments, the need for a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach is more critical than ever. This symposium aims to provide a comprehensive platform for exploring how immunodeficiencies can influence hematologic and oncologic conditions and vice versa, and how each specialty offers unique insights that contribute to improving diagnosis, treatment, and management strategies.

This symposium is an important opportunity for fellows, researchers and junior faculty to report and highlight novel basic and clinical information on this interplay of immunodeficiencies and malignant and non-malignant hematological diseases. They are encouraged to submit abstracts related to the keynote topics.

Our mission is simple: to unite our expertise across these vital fields to elevate patient care and outcomes.

This symposium marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between immunologists, haematologists, and paediatric oncologists.
