Florida Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America has long recognized the value of local Boys & Girls Clubs working collectively to further the mission of enabling as many young people as possible to become caring, responsible citizens. Under the leadership of the BGCA’s Office of Government Relations, state alliances were developed to serve as a single, influential force representing a collective body of local Boys & Girls Clubs. State alliances and their leadership work to secure state funding and other resources to benefit the needs of the member organizations. State alliances are considered separate but operate in partnership with local Area Councils to achieve the purposes outlined above.
