Hollywood Pop Up Comedy CLub

The Hollywood Pop Up Comedy Club is a brand under the Hollywood Pop Up Entertainment umbrella which was launched by co-founders Ron Senkowski and Samira Kawas in April 2018 with their first event held in Beirut at the St. Georges Yacht Club. After a year of shows in Beirut, the company expanded to Saudi Arabia by bringing six US-based comedians to perform during the first ever Jeddah Season in June of 2019. After this, the company has produced Maz Jobrani’s Middle Eastern Peaceful Warrior tour and events in Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah. At the 2019 inaugural edition of Riyadh Season, the team brought Eddie Griffin to perform for two nights in the Boulevard zone. Hollywood Pop Up Entertainment is also bringing comedy-adjacent, family friendly entertainment to the middle east, with a focus on DJs, musical artists, illusionists and more. The company’s mission is to bridge cultures through laughter and create accidental ambassadors: after the comedians perform in places like these, they bring back new friendships, warmth and fantastic memories that they then share with their audiences around the world.
