Building on the legacy of the India Energy Access Summit (2015–2020), IDRES reflects the evolving priorities of India’s clean energy journey- from expanding access to enabling reliable, productive, affordable, and inclusive energy solutions. As India moves beyond near-universal electrification and accelerates its climate commitments, IDRES 2026 positions DRE as a critical driver of the clean energy transition, sustainable livelihoods, rural industrialisation, and climate resilience.
