Shipshewana On the Road was founded in November of 1992 by Darrell and Julie Lepper when they decided to bring some dealers from the Shipshewana, IN outdoor market to the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, MI where they live. The outdoor market has long been a favorite place for people to shop. But due to the drive, the season (May through October) and the fact that it is only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, many people are unable to attend.
