Junkstock

Junkstock is a well-known vintage festival. But most people don’t know that Junkstock was started by a local dreamer and small business owner. There is no big corporation here, or franchise out of town - this is a love story by a woman who loves her community and wants to make Omaha even more fun. She was the first person to mix live music and food on a farm in Omaha.

Sara Alexander, the founder and mother of Junkstock is humble about her achievements and the sweat, blood, and tears that she has put into the event for the past six years. Team Junkstock decided to share the Mother's story with her, as she is not one to be boastful.
