ABOUT THE MOLE MOBILE

Each year an estimated 89000 Canadians are diagnosed with melanoma and skin cancer. Survival rates are high if detected early and unlike other cancers it is often clearly visible on the skin.

The Mole Mobile will visit major Canadian cities with long wait times to see a dermatologist underserved communities rural areas and Indigenous regions to help speed up the time to diagnosis which is vital to improving outcomes for patients. With partnership and support from the Canadian Dermatology Association Melanoma Canada’s Mole Mobile hopes to perform 25000 free skin checks across Canada over the next 5 years.
