PATNULU: The Handspun Handwoven Craft of Ponduru, Andhra Pradesh presented by Creyo.

For the first time in Hyderabad, experience the art of fine cotton spinning brought to you by the master spinners of Srikakulam. Witness traditional techniques LIVE and participate in an exclusive hands-on workshop on spinning – an event like no other!

The highlight of the event are the master spinners of fine 100s count cotton yarn who will demonstrate LIVE, the spinning craft of transforming cotton fiber into yarn, through 5 stages, using indigenous hand-held tools. The exhibit also includes posters on the Patnulu craft, a select product display and sale of stoles, sarees and fabrics. This event is in two locations.
