Pima County Fair

Pima County established the Southwestern Fair Commission, Inc. in 1975 to manage the fairgrounds since the 1970s. The management agreement between the Commission and Pima County states that all profits from operations will be reinvested into the facility for improvement. The commission has spent millions of dollars over the years on improvements to the facilities.
Pima County Fairgrounds is a 640-acre facility that hosts an event. It is located in a desert area with mesquite and cacti. Facilities, 15-acres of asphalt exhibit area, outdoor spaces, picnic areas and RV facilities.
