The 65th Annual Conference of Metallurgy and Materials
We’re thrilled to announce that the 65th Conference of Metallurgy and Materials (COM 2026), hosted by MetSoc of CIM, will be held from August 17-20, 2026, at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
COM 2026 is an international gathering of professionals from industry, academia, and government, dedicated to advancing the fields of materials science and metallurgy. This four-day event features a robust technical program covering cutting-edge developments in hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, materials innovation, and sustainability. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, share research, and explore the future of metallurgical technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
COM 2026 is also committed to supporting the next generation of professionals. Students and early-career participants are invited to take advantage of tailored networking events and numerous opportunities to connect with industry leaders, gain valuable insights, and build relationships that will support their future careers.
